Jihadi Terrorism and the Radicalisation Challenge. European and American Experiences
Ten years after the tragic terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 terrorism has largely lost its world defining momentum. The gripping fear of terrorism has somewhat abated. The post-9/11 urgency in devising adequate counterterrorism policies has become less frenzied and driven by overreaction and made place for policies and mechanisms that are now running at cruising speed.
