New figures on European nationals detained in Syria and Iraq

In the context of the Turkish military offensive in northern Syria, and the resulting insecurity and instability in the various camps and prisons where ISIS foreign fighters are being held, the Egmont Institute has compiled exclusive figures on the number of European adults and children detained in the region. These figures contradict some of the figures circulating previously.
